What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inerrant, inspired, and authoritative word of God.

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through shedding of His blood on the cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the God the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit, and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to the resurrection of eternal life and the lost to the resurrection of eternal punishment.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ and the complementary roles of men and women, equally valued in the sight of God and essential for His Kingdom's work.

Our Focal Passage

Titus 2:1-5 ESV

1 But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. 2 Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. 3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, 4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.
